Healing begins with curiosity – and curiosity begins with a safe, compassionate space to be fully yourself

ABOUT ME
ABOUT ME
I offer one to one therapy sessions with young people and adults either face to face, telephone or online. People often seek out professional support because for one reason or another, they are having a difficult time. Life can sometimes be complex with so many things to manage and negotiate that it can be easy for things to build up and become unmanageable. Money worries, relationship challenges, employment worries & health concerns are just some of the things that can lead to feelings and thoughts that are confusing and possibly overwhelming. Regular therapy offers a safe, non-judgemental and confidential space where the person can learn to cultivate curiosity about themselves and the challenges they are facing at this time. This can lead to a greater awareness of themselves and a greater ability to choose their next step.
EXPERIENCE
My professional Counselling journey started in 2004 at the Shekinah School of Psycho-spiritual Training in Dorset, where I attained a diploma in Psycho-spiritual Counselling. To complement this qualification, I went on to study Voice Dialogue and the Psychology of Selves which was successfully completed to an advanced level. I also gained a qualification in Advanced Specialist Training in Counselling Children and Young People.
Over the years I have worked in various settings which include charities such as Cruse Bereavement, Teens in Crisis and I have also been employed by Herefordshire County Council as a School Counsellor. Alongside all of the above I run a successful Private practice in the Forest of Dean offering support to both young people and adults.
